You can call me Luci. Sharp-eared listeners listeners may have noticed that Episode One is about an hour shorter than it was originally. This is the second half of that episode, now being referred to as Episode Two. The numbering of the rest of Ghostpuncher Corps will be shifted in order to accommodate this new episode, and we hope you understand.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Last time we met our three adventurers: the bookish Petua Jones, the cybergoth bard Electra, the &#8216;oaf&#8217; Kevin along with their mysterious new guide Mikey. In their investigations they left their new friend in the car (which I think was extremely unfair to him), almost bought some bulk order truck nuts, got caught snooping around in Jackie&#8217;s Customs, somehow got hired to exterminate some rats and they just didn\u2019t fucking exterminate any of the rats. At all.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Let\u2019s see how things go this time!<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>[Musical interlude]<\/b><\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Lyrics:<\/b> We walk upon the soaked carcasses of those who once gave us life.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Amanda:<\/b> That is not\u2026 what a box&#8230; does to someone.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Robyn:<\/b> Well I mean\u2026 We don\u2019t know exactly how many truck nuts there were.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Amanda:<\/b> It\u2019s not-&#8230; o-okay, even then. When was the last time you were hit by a blunt object and bled to death?<\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Robyn:<\/b> I-i\u2026 n-never.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Amanda:<\/b> Yeah, exactly! I think we should look at I dunno, a coroner\u2019s report or something? There must have been something suspicious about the way that this went down.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Syd:<\/b> Well you know where we\u2019ll get that\u2026<\/span><\/p><p><b>Amanda:<\/b> Fuck! Cops! No! Ugh, alright\u2026<\/p><p><b>Robyn:<\/b> Well we don\u2019t have to talk to \u2018em, we can sneak in.<\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Amanda: <\/b>That\u2019s true.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Lilith:<\/b> Another rat just like, like\u2026 crawls across Kevin\u2019s feet. Or Kevin\u2019s shoes.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Robyn: <\/b>I\u2019m not gonna stop it, cause if we have to come back, I want there to be a reason. I don\u2019t wanna get rid of our lie.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Amanda:<\/b> Don\u2019t you think that we should kill just like, one rat, so we can show them?<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Robyn: <\/b>Uh, I don\u2019t wanna do it.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Syd:<\/b> What\u2019s the shelf situation? Alright, I think we might have exhausted our-<\/p><p><b>Syd:<\/b> Sorry.<\/p><p><b>Amanda: <\/b>Oh it\u2019s ok\u2026 I say in character. To the mic noise that your character just made, I mean you do have a synth so it\u2019s not too far away\u2026 I think we should go back to our van friend and let him take us to a second location. I think we\u2019ve exhausted our investigation here until we can find something more about how this went down. Then I met you guys and you told me to come here.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Amanda: <\/b>Oh&#8230; right. Alright! Mikey! Mikey, ok, we are in communication with something we can\u2019t explain. We can\u2019t see it, but we can feel it.<\/p><p><b>Cassidy: <\/b>Ooookay.<\/p><p><b>Amanda: <\/b>Did you feel anything? Did you feel anything when you were out here?<\/p><p><b>Cassidy: <\/b>Like\u2026 I felt a bunch of stuff. Like the wind, and the sunshine. And I heard some birds\u2026 and some squirrels.<\/p><p><b>Syd: <\/b>What about\u2026 [whispered] ghosts?<\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Cassidy: <\/b>What? Ghosts? I only ever met one ghost. It was weird.<\/p><p><b>Amanda: <\/b>Oh!<\/p><p><b>Robyn:<\/b> Well oh, hey wait, that\u2019s more\u2026 That\u2019s a lot of ghosts, relatively.<\/p><p><b>Cassidy: <\/b>Oh I mean like, it was a brief thing. Like it was just the one time.<\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Robyn: <\/b>Was it, around here?<\/span><\/p><p><b>Cassidy: <\/b>Oh nonono. This was like, I dunno, ways ways\u2026 that way. He just kind of points vaguely in a direction.<\/p><p><b>Amanda: <\/b>Gotcha.<\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Syd: <\/b>[unclear inquiry about outside]<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Cassidy: <\/b>Yeah I think we\u2019re just still sitting outside around the winnebago.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Amanda: <\/b>Yeah, or possibly looking up at him as he sits on the winnebago.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Cassidy: <\/b>I mean, he\u2019s made no move. You haven\u2019t told him to move or do anything.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Amanda: <\/b>Right, ok. Mikey, I think we need to go somewhere else now, could you take us there?<\/span><\/p><p><b>Cassidy: <\/b>Yeah ok, if you tell me where to go.<\/p><p><b>Amanda: <\/b>Yeah, cool.<\/p><p><b>Cassidy: <\/b>He climbs down from the roof of the roof of the cabin back into the truck. Just kind of like a fluid motion, swinging through the window type thing.<\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Amanda: <\/b>Nice.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Syd:<\/b> So\u2026 I\u2019m no fan of cops either but, perhaps if we can convince someone we\u2019re next of kin we can get some information.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Amanda: <\/b>That sounds like a really good idea.<\/p><p><b>Robyn: <\/b>I take my phone out, and use my GPS, and just tell Mikey where to turn and we get there.<\/p><p><b>Amanda: <\/b>Good, good.<\/p><p><b>Lilith: <\/b>Hell Yeah, Hell Yeah<\/p><p><b>Cassidy: <\/b>You notice that as he\u2019s driving he\u2019s constantly glancing over at your phone, kind of confused and non-comprehending. But you get there.<\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Robyn: <\/b>Well this is the 7, the iPhone 7, if you had a 6 you might not recognize it.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Cassidy: <\/b>Hmm, 7. I see. So what was it you were doing anyway?<\/p><p><b>Amanda: <\/b>We\u2019re gonna try to to go down to the police station and maybe try and get a report on how the death went down? Because there was way more blood-<\/p><p><b>Cassidy: <\/b>What\u2019s a \u2018Police Station\u2019?<\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Amanda: <\/b>\u2026 Oh I thought you were asking out of character, I\u2019m sorry.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Cassidy: <\/b>Nono, in character.<\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Amanda: <\/b>Uhm, we are going to a place, um, where they\u2019re reporting on the death of someone that we are trying to figure out how they died.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Cassidy: <\/b>Oh. Ok. Did you see their body? That\u2019s the easiest way to see how something\u2019s died. And yeah, it\u2019s a small little building, double-doors in front. Ample parking. I\u2019ll handle it, uhm\u2026 Mikey looks at you a second and, just staring at you sort of intently, you know, in a weird way?
